  	NOTICE is hereby given that the PARTNERSHIP hitherto existing between the Undersigned THOMAS  FOX MELLOR,  JAMES FOX MELLOR, and BENJAMIN FOX MELLOR, under the Style of MELLOR BROTHERS, as General Machinists, in Adelaide, Kapunda, and Jamestown, was DISSOLVED by mutual consent on the fifth day of January instant by the retirement of the said Thomas Fox Mellor. The Business will in future be carried on under the same style by the said James Fox Mellor and Benjamin Fox Mellor, who will receive and pay all Debts due to and owing by the late Firm. E. Bennie, Mrs. E. A. Anderson, Allan, Irene, and Roy, in his 73rd year,late  of the original firm of Mellor Bros., Adelaide. "So He giveth His beloved sleep." (Adelaide papers please copy.)

  	The late Mr. Benjamin Fox Mellor, who died in Melbourne on Sunday, was well known by the farming community of  South Australia. For many years he was a partner in the implement manufacturing business of Mellor Brothers, which was founded in the early days by his father, the late Mr. Joseph Mellor. All of Mr. Mellor's brothers- Messrs. Thomas F., James F., and John F. Mellor predeceased him. About 30 years ago deceased with his partner, the late Mr. James Fox Mellor, manufactured and introduced the stump jump plough into South Australia, Victoria, and other States, having purchased the patent rights from the inventor, Mr. Robert B. Smith (now of Perth, W.A.). Until the date of his departure for Melbourne about 1906 Mr. Mellor was an active worker in the Flinders Street Baptist Church and Sunday School. His widow, is daughter of the late Mr. Dawson, of Dublin, and her family, reside in Victoria. There are four sons- Messrs. Frank, Bruce, Allan, and Roy (Moonee Ponds), and three daughters- Mesdames Benny, Newlyn, and Anderson Rushworth, and Miss Irene Mellor (Moonee Ponds). The Register (Adelaide, SA : 1901-1929)
